INL WEATHER FORECAST


INL Forecast issued Friday November 17, 2017     Time: 1513 MST

CFA Max Temp so far Today: 40 deg F.
CFA Min Temp This Morning: 32 deg F.

CFA Normal temperatures for today are 40 and 16 deg F.

A cold front is presently pushing through the area bringing clearing skies,
breezy conditions, and much colder temperatures. There will be a lingering
chance of shower activity on the INL through this evening. Winds have been a 
little weaker than expected so far and the NWS has cancelled its Wind Advisory.
However, Wind Statement criteria are currently being met on the INL and    
elevated winds will persist into this evening. The winds will then gradually
taper off and the weekend looks to be cool and dry with relatively lighter 
winds and temperatures near seasonal norms. The next Pacific storm system will 
begin to push into the area Sunday night bringing the chance of widespread 
shower activity on Monday.

Tonight: Mostly clear. WSW-WNW'erly winds in the evening at 20 to 30 mph,
         then shifting to SW'erly and tapering overnight at 5 to 15 mph. Lows, 
         low to mid teens. Chance of precipitation is 10%, mainly before
         midnight.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. S-SW'erly winds at 5 to 15 mph. Highs in the mid 30s.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. S'erly winds in the evening up to 10 mph
                shifting to N'erly by morning. Lows, low to mid teens.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with increasing cloudiness late in the day. N-NE'erly 
        winds in the morning up to 10 mph shifting to S'erly in the afternoon 
        at 5 to 15 mph. Highs near 40.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy with chance of snow showers, mainly shortly before
              sunrise. S'erly winds at 5 to 15 mph. Lows near 20. Chance of 
              precipitation is 30%.
